do we have to be a premium member on Netgammon to play in IBA events?

No, you do not need to be a NetGammon Premium Member to play in IBA events. We still believe strongly in the advantages of unrated play in our events. However, should you wish to upgrade your NetGammon membership, you will automatically receive a 20% discount as an IBA member. Just be sure you have arranged to have the IBA icon added to your account on NetGammon.

I am trying to pay my subscription but you do not make it easy. Last year I paid with a credit card and this year I have to use paypal to do this. I changed my credit card since I last used paypal and now I have to wait for my next statement a month away to get verification numbers. Not easy. If you can tell me how I can pay using my credit card I will happily do it!

Using a credit card through PayPal is easy. You don’t even need a PayPal Account to renew your IBA subscription upgrade. Follow me …

1) At www.iba-backgammon.com, click on Upgrade under Site Navigation.
2) Under the upgrade you wish to make, click the drop down arrow and select either 6 months or 1 year. Then click Order.
3) On the next page, click Order using PayPal.
4) On the left side of the next page, find Don’t have a PayPal account? Use your credit card or bank account. Click Continue.
5) Fill in the credit card information on the left side of the next page. There is no need to log in to PayPal. Once your credit card information is complete, Click Review order and continue.
6) On the last page, double check the information you have supplied for typing errors and then submit your payment.
