It was very fortune that I found one of my league member on line several time and invited him/her. However "XXXX" refused to me everytime. I copied the conversation as below:

from chlchl : why you reject to play with me so many times?
from chlchl : I will report your attitude to the board
from "XXXX" : Because i am waiting to play someone else
from "XXXX" : please go ahead I can play whom I want it is a free world

"XXXX" wasn't playing with another player at all. Please give "XXXX" some advises.

Thanks

chlchl

Greetings chlchl,

First, I edited your post to exclude your opponents name. We feel that a public forum is not the place to name names. I am sure you understand. :) We have, however, made a note of the name you reported.

This is a very good example of why it is so helpful to pre-schedule our league matches that we all can learn from. Without an appointment, we must take our chances when asking online to play a league match (what we call 'scheduling on the fly'). Some players don't mind this approach ... others do and will deny your request.

You may very well qualify for a forfeit of this match if the player refuses to play your league match before the deadline; however, you will need documentation that you tried your best to schedule the match. The easiest way to provide the documentation is to make all requests to schedule in writing through NGmail.

Further details for how best to arrange a match and request a forfeit can be found in IBA's League Rules.

Can I ask where exactly is the place to name names.

I've been a member of this site for many years but took a break and recently returned. There has been a noticable change in what I thought to be the IBA principles of fair play, politeness and honesty.

I feel that there should be somewhere that the common plebs can voice their opinion, if they feel that they have been unjustly treated, and yes, name the culprits - otherwise it becomes a secret society run by the organisers, for the organisers (and their friends).

Name and shame the rude, the cheaters and the downright nasty - and give the good people the opportunity to comment - rather than hide it away and continue to diminish this once great site.

I'll start with XXXXXXX and XXXXXXXX

Yours censordely

Dang Garp, censored again. *sigh* Yes, as you can see I deleted the names that you posted. I will NOT allow this site to turn into a player bashing event based on assumptions.

IBA has given you every tool to provide us this information through Complaint Forms (http://www.iba-backgammon.com/ibaforum/misc.php?do=page&template=complaint) available on our site. Action IS taken when it is justified. What more do you want??

I am not even going to respond to those insulting comments.
